Brioni is the largest island of the archipelago of the same name, off the Istrian coast. There are no cars in this pristine paradise. You can walk or cycle along the tracks in the shade of pine trees. On the north-east shoreline you can play golf or make for the isolated creeks. On the west coastline, you’ll find the standing ruins in the Brioni National Park. These ruins include a pre-historic fortified camp, a villa from Antiquity and a Byzantine basilica. The beautiful mosaics discovered on the site are exhibited inthe Church of Saint Germain.
