Like her sisterships, Le Boréal embodies the subtle alliance between luxury, intimacy and wellbeing which is PONANT’s signature. The elegance of her exterior and interior lines and her intimate size (only 132 staterooms and suites) make this a rare and innovative yacht on the cruise market.
Superior materials, discreet elegance and a tasteful décor reflect a nautical mood subtly revisited. Aboard, soothing neutral grey tones are enlivened by splashes of red, our signature theme linking tradition and innovation to create personal touches in the spirit of a “private yacht”.

Born in Quebec, Alain Choquette early dreams of becoming a famous magician from his earliest age. Specialized in “close-up magic”, he is handling card tricks with skill and he bases his shows on a close collaboration with his audience. With humor and poetry, Alain Choquette offers another approach to magic while collaborating with renowned artists like the famous magician David Copperfield who borrows some of his spectacular acts as “La Disparition des Douze”.
In his early stages, for seven years, Alain presented his close-up magic tricks to the most popular talk show in Quebec television "Ad Lib". Starting from 1993, shows are coming one after another as he multiplies performances in Quebec and in the United States. His first show « Première apparition » is a great success in 1993 in Montreal with two hundred performances within two years.
This dazzling celebrity brought him then to the American stages between 1994 and 1998. He was invited to participate in the TV special "World's Greatest Magic" broadcast by NBC watched by over 26 million viewers, to join the American tour 50th anniversary of the prestigious Radio City Music Hall in New York and then to participate in the "The Champions of Magic" program broadcast by ABC. In 1998 he came back to Quebec to present a new show « Jeux de vilain » conquering an even wider audience. In October 2003, he presented « Alain Choquette et compagnie » at the Casino of Montreal, which had a great impact on the illusionist throughout his life.
He mystified Montrealers with « La Disparition des Douze » in which he removed 12 randomly selected people within the public which gave him a worldwide reputation. Very impressed, David Copperfield took his show for his own show and is still presenting it in Las Vegas in 2014. With a career of over twenty years in the illusionism on the North American continent, Alain Choquette crossed the Atlantic in 2013 to charm the France through its participation at the Comedy Magic Show of Arturo Brachetti in 2013. He came back to France in late 2014 to present his new show « Drôlement magique » written in collaboration with Ludovic -Alexandre Vidal.
