Le Ponant, the first Relais & Châteaux sailing yacht. The finest travel address on the waters of the world.
“Eternity. It is the sea mingled with the sun”, according to a poem by Rimbaud. Whether you are a lover of the sea or a curious traveller, experience once again the indescribable joy of navigating under sail, bathed by the wind and sea spray, surrounded by the elements. Take your place aboard Le Ponant, a majestic three-mast yacht with elegant lines and an interior design created by the Jean-Philippe Nuel studio to be a warm and intimate setting with a very distinctive personality. As if you were on your very own yacht, match your inner tempo to the boat’s subtle oscillations and savour the freedom of living in the moment, being fully present for your trip.
Aboard its emblematic yacht, PONANT is reshaping the contours of cruising and invites you to experience a new way of discovering the wonderful Corsican shores. Departing from Nice, between wild paradises and heavenly beaches, iconic ports of call and private moments, the very essence of the Isle of Beauty will reveal itself.
As you are carried by the wind from one cape to the other, discover the multiple facets of the island. To the north, in Calvi or Saint Florent, the craggy terrain of the Balagne region and Cap Corse stretch out towards the sea. There, under the watchful eye of emblematic summits and of shores eroded by sea spray, the historic citadels and the villages clinging to the heady maquis invite you to immerse yourself in this still-unspoiled natural environment.
Slowly, the south of the island and its idyllic beaches will beckon you. Drawn by the spellbinding song of these sandy sirens, you will heed the call at full sail. On the way, the stunning spectacle of the archipelago formed by Pointe de la Parata and the Sanguinaires Islands indicates the entrance to the Gulf of Ajaccio. This long line of crests seems to extend the coast like a backbone and, for a moment, your vessel, and perhaps even time, seem brought to a standstill.
You will then set a course towards the southern tip of the Isle of Beauty, to uncover its dreamy scenery. In the Gulf of Sant’Amanza, the azure Mediterranean and its fish-rich waters merge with the different varieties of plants and shrubs warmed by the sun, inviting you to refocus on what is truly important. With your senses awakened, you will then sail towards the incredible landscape offered by Bonifacio and the fortress with winding streets suspended on its ivory cliffs.
In the Gulf of Roccapina, on the beach of Erbaghju, the iconic Domaine de Murtoli emerges. Nestled between fragrant scrubland and turquoise sea, shielded from prying eyes, this unique hotel destination invites you to celebrate the Corsican way of life at its most vibrant and generous.
The activities, designed for you and with you, create possibilities for returning to what is essential, in a setting conducive to contemplation.
At your own pace, immerse yourself in wild and stunning panoramas, away from the crowds, and enjoy moments spent in harmony with nature.
*The activities on offer will be confirmed on board by the captain according to the weather conditions, the itinerary and the cruise plan.

Capital of the Cote d’Azur, Nice is surrounded by an amphitheatre of hills and mountains that protects it from the wind. You will probably want to explore the Promenade des Anglais, where you can sit on one of the famous blue chairs laid out opposite the baie des Anges. The Château hill is also a very pleasent place to walk. This is the entrance to the old city, with its bustling markets and regional products along the main street, the Cours Saleya.
Board your off-road vehicle and start your exploration of Corsica and especially the mountainous part of the Agriates desert. This picturesque experience will allow you to discover in a unique way the beauty of natural sites and the charm Corsica.
After receiving your safety instructions, leave the dock to begin your adventure. In the middle of the 20th century, the Agriates were a prosper agriculture region. Contrary to what one might think, the desert of Agriates fed the north of Corsica for centuries, with cultivations taking advantage of its 32 springs and 27 hidden fountains. The term “desert” can therefore be explained, not by its aridity, but by the exodus that followed the World War I. Many young Corsicans lost their lives during the war, leaving the land orphaned. During your scenic journey, you will discover the beauty of the landscapes from several beautiful points of view. Following the bumpy tracks of the desert, reach a superb panorama of the peaks of Patrimonio and the two seas, hugging the northern part of Corsica.
Then, stop in a winery located in Poggio-d'Oletta in Corsica, the Clos Clementi. These twelve hectares of vines, forming a single plot, are classified in AOC Patrimonio. Planted with «usu anticu» according to the orientation of the sun and the wind, these noble grape varieties of the appellation feed on a soil with predominantly clay-limestone and enjoy an exceptional microclimate. Enjoy a tasting in this family estate and learn more about the know-how that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1936.
Continue your scenic drive before rejoining the pier.
· The off-road vehicles used are local and air-conditioned. Each vehicle can accommodate four passengers. Since the roads and tracks used are relatively rough, this excursion is not recommended for people with back or cervical problems. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and protect yourself from the sun.

You will then head to the Bonaparte House, located in the heart of the city. This residence, owned by the Bonaparte family since 1682, was Napoleon’s birthplace in 1769 and his home until the age of nine. His work is also distinguished by the design of the greens—mischievous and demanding—offering a memorable and exceptional golfing experience.

Next, your route takes you to Ajaccio Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and completed in 1593. It was here that Napoleon was baptized in 1771. Near the entrance, a pillar bears a plaque engraved with the initial “N” framed by laurel leaves, a tribute to Napoleon’s wish, expressed on his deathbed while in exile, to be laid to rest here alongside his ancestors, should his remains not be returned to Paris.
You will then head to the Bonaparte House, located in the heart of the city. This residence, owned by the Bonaparte family since 1682, was Napoleon’s birthplace in 1769 and his home until the age of nine. It remained in the family until the late 1920s and was ceded to the French state in 1923 by Prince Victor Napoléon, the last heir. The house was converted into a national museum in 1967.
For this visit, the Napoléon Bonaparte Museum will be exclusively privatized for Ponant guests, offering you a rare and intimate experience in this iconic location.
Your walk concludes in the charming pedestrian area lined with cafés, restaurants, and boutiques. Take time to wander along Rue Fesch, home to the Fesch Museum and the Imperial Chapel, where several members of the Bonaparte family are buried.
· This tour involves walking approximately 1.2 miles over uneven ground and cobblestone streets. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and protecting yourself from the sun.

Harmoniously blending nature and technique, the course features natural fairways, meticulously maintained greens, and breathtaking panoramas of the sea and mountains. Murtoli Links has also earned the Bronze Label for biodiversity, highlighting its commitment to local fauna and flora.
To create this "different" golf course, Domaine de Murtoli enlisted one of the greatest architects and artists in golf, Kyle Phillips. His approach was to leave the site untouched, respecting the natural beauty of the area. By integrating the course into the natural contours of the landscape, he transformed the terrain into a true playground while preserving the olive groves, immortelle fields, and pastures. His work is also distinguished by the design of the greens—mischievous and demanding—offering a memorable and exceptional golfing experience.
Come experience a truly exceptional moment in a setting where luxury and authenticity meet for a round of golf like no other.
