On the ever-changing menu you will find hearty breakfasts, a la carte dishes and diverse buffets, home-made pastries, and fresh bread baked on board. Onborad Le Commandant Charcot, experience Nuna, Alain Ducasse’s only gastronomic restaurant at sea, featuring a menu created by the Michelin-starred chef.
A modern fleet
As one of the few cruise companies to sail under the French flag, one of the safest in the world, we adhere to strict specifications regarding the training of our crews and compliance with health and safety protocols, and regular checks on our vessels. Our intimate hips have just 4 to 165 staterooms and are equipped with the latest technology.

By way of our Foundation, our PONANT Blue Horizon and PONANT Science programmes, we strive to reduce our environmental footprint through a number of means (hybrid propulsion, recycling and waste and water treatment, elimination of single-use plastics, etc.). With laboratories available to science teams on board Le Commandant Charcot, we are thrilled to contribute to international scientific research.
Conscious travels
In the Arctic and Antarctica, we are members of IAATO and AECO: associations that bring together different stakeholders in the polar regions to promote more responsible tourism. We have also made commitments at an international level and are proud to be part of the UN programme to ban single-use plastics. Our entire fleet has also been awarded Cleanship certification by Bureau Veritas.
