In the heart of the Solomon archipelago, the Nggela or “Florida” islands are bathed in shimmering, clear waters which will awaken your swimmer’s or even your diver’s curiosity. Here, you’ll want to explore the multicoloured coral reefs and admire the incredible marine life. Around Guadalcanal and the Florida islands, you can observe and admire the abundant aquatic flora. In Roderick bay, you’ll be surprised to discover the abandoned cruise ship, MS World Discoverer. The ship struck uncharted rock in 2000, and is today gaily clad in the lush vegetation that has grown over it. You might feel brave enough to dive around the ship to explore its immersed parts.
