Idaho Inlet is a small corner of protected wildlife. And for good reason: Elfin Cove, the nearest place to this bay in the north of Chichagof island, is located a few kilometres away... and is only populated by a dozen or so people. All around the Idaho Inlet, the scenery is breath-taking: snowy mountains and a calm sea seem to melt into the clouds that kiss the water’s surface. Don’t miss the sighting of humpback whales or bears along the coast to remind you that here, nature is reclaiming its rights.
