Kwatisore is located in Cenderawasih Bay (which means “Bird of Paradise Bay”) at the northern point of Indonesian Papua. The marine park of Cenderawasih Bay, declared a national park in 2002, stretches over more than 14,500 km² and is home to a variety of cohabiting coastal and mangrove ecosystems, coral reefs and insular jungles and tropical forests. The fauna and flora, often unique and endemic, are abundant and hypnotic here. During your visit, you’ll be able to admire extraordinary terrestrial, marine or underwater landscapes.
