Mulaku Atoll is an atoll in the Maldives consisting of around thirty islands of which ten or so are inhabited by a few thousand people living mainly off fishing and tourism. From a total area of almost 1,000 km², including the lagoon, Mulaku Atoll has only 4.2 km² of emerged land. In the heart of lush vegetation with its coconut trees, breadfruit, frangipani and hibiscus, this idyllic atoll is a particularly renowned diving spot.
