Navagio, also known as Shipwreck Cove, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece. Situated at the foot of an imposing cliff, it can only be reached by sea, if the weather conditions are favourable. Or it can be admired from above, from a vertiginous headland. But the Ionian island of Zakynthos is home to many other riches, like the town of Zante and its post-Byzantine museum. A pleasant walk along the seafront and through the town’s streets will lead you to the Saint Dionysios Church and its campanile, dedicated to the patron saint of the island.
