Nelsonﾒs Dockyard is a historic shipyard in English Harbour, on Antiguaﾒs south coast. The beautifully restored 18th- and 19th-century buildings now house modern shops, hotels and marina businesses and beyond the Dockyard is a national park, dotted with old forts. The Naval Officerﾒs House houses the Dockyard Museum, which is dedicated to the harbourﾒs past and features a life-sized portrait of Admiral Nelson. Hillside paths in the park lead to some impressive viewpoints in Shirley Heights overlooking the bay.
