Built on a peninsula on the south-west coast overlooking the Black sea, the town of Nessebar possesses age-old history. Founded by the Greeks and then colonised by the Romans and the Ottomans, it is a listed UNESCO World Heritage site. You can ramble in the historical district without worrying about cars, because the area is fully pedestrian.
