Noonu Atoll is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives after those of Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu and Shavuyani. Landhoo, one of its many islands, has been known for its crafts (sculpture and wood engraving) for several centuries. This atoll is a collection of low coral islands in the form of a crown around an inner lagoon that they protect. These islets and sand banks are separated by channels that let currents inside the lagoon. Walking on the beaches or swimming under the sea, you’ll appreciate the idyllic atmosphere of the atoll and its coral reefs.
