From the deck of your ship off the coast of Quiberon, Houat Island looms: high granite cliffs and fine sand beaches bordered by turquoise water… You will easily make out the masts and white sails of the sail boats and the coloured hulls of the fishing boats, nestling in the island’s port. Extending the Quiberon Peninsula, Houat was attached to the French mainland in the past and has been continuously inhabited since the Neolithic period.
