In southern Chile, discover the Gabriel Channel, at the junction of the Magellan Strait and the Magdalena Channel. Some sixty kilometres long, this waterway offers an exceptional sailing experience between Dawson Island and the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Nestling in the heart of a magnificent natural setting, it provides the opportunity to admire the rugged peaks of the Cordillera Darwin, named in honour of the explorer and naturalist Charles Darwin. In parts, this sea arm is only 350 metres wide or less, giving its rare visitors the unique chance to glimpse the most minute of details of the sumptuous icy landscapes that surround them.
