Shady white sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters and multicoloured coral reefs; Tenia Island is a small and idyllic desert island to the north of Passe Saint Vincent, within the protected marine area of the South Province. Located on the outer layer of the coral reef, you can admire the dense aquatic fauna and will surely see dolphins which like to play around small boats, sea kraits, stripy sea snakes that are emblematic of New Caledonia, sea turtles and the wedge-tailed shearwater.
