Located in the Zhejiang province on the eastern Chinese coast, Wenzhou, or “mild and pleasant land”, is one of China’s biggest ports. The heart of the town remains more business-oriented, but the surrounding area remains particularly preserved, with old villages almost frozen in time, natural parks, magnificent terraced rice paddies… In town, you’ll be able to go to Jiangxin Island, in the middle of the Yangzi River, to appreciate its temple, its pagodas, its gardens and its small lakes.
