National Geographic & PONANT Expedition Cruises
For 130 years, National Geographic has explored the people, places and events of our world, showcasing the works of leading explorers, scientists, environmentalists, photographers and film makers. It is National Geographic’s deep belief that when people understand the world, they care more deeply and take responsibility for it. That’s why NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC and PONANT have partnered to offer unique ocean cruise expeditions that explore the far corners of the world.
Aboard each luxury, small group PONANT voyage, a National Geographic expert and photographer will join guests to share their knowledge and insights. They will enrich the expedition experience through fascinating presentations and informal discussions, offering photography tips and a chance to make a difference.
From these expeditions, portions of the profits will be donated to the National Geographic Society, which supports researchers and experts engaged in protecting and preserving the planet and its various species and populations. National Geographic Society has funded groundbreaking scientists and changemakers, each year offering over 450 grants to researchers and explorers, and sharing their findings with the world.
