Alain Cabras

Interculturalist Alain CABRAS became deeply involved early on in the dialogue between cultures and civilizations, to the point that, starting in 2003, after obtaining his Advanced Specialized Studies Diploma in "Intercultural Management and the Management of Religious Issues" from Sciences Po Aix, he made intercultural intelligence the focus of his professional activity. Between seminars, conferences, and training sessions in companies as well as ministries, he addresses practical issues related to cultural and religious plurality in over thirty countries.

Passionate about teaching, he taught from 2006 to 2015 at Sciences Po Aix as an associate lecturer, and since 2019 at the Sorbonne within the professional diploma program for laïcité (secularism) coordinators. In 2023, he became an associate professor at Polytech Marseille, where he teaches the foundations of cultures and the anthropology of "belief" to embody the core values of cohesion in all groups.

As an expert for APM (Association for Progress in Management), he is committed to training French-speaking leaders around the world, having participated in over 150 events to date.

In 2021, he co-published the Giant Book of Laïcité, which earned him the French Republic Prize. In 2024, he co-published Sens & Nous (Meaning & Us), continuing his quest for cohesion.

In 2023, he took associative action by co-founding Marseille au Pluriel with fourteen prominent Marseille figures, aiming to rebuild ties between the economic and associative sectors through the method of Interculturality.
