Clara Mousseigne

Born 2004 in Paris, Clara Mousseigne is another dancer whose path is characterised by grace and determination. She was admitted to the Paris Opera Ballet School at the age of nine where she very quickly revealed her exceptional talent. Her light steps and captivating artistic expression earned her leading roles in productions of Suite de danse, Gourouli (Les Deux Pigeons) and Swanilda (Coppélia) in performances put on by the Ballet School.

At 16, Clara joined the prestigious Paris Opera Dance Company, an endorsement of this young dancer’s talent and won the Jeunes Espoirs prize in recognition of her outstanding promise and potential.

Since then, Clara has risen in the ranks with unyielding determination. She stands out in promotional competitions, reaching the Quadrille ranking in 2020, then Coryphée in 2021 before being promoted to the much sought-after status of Sujet in 2022.

As if that was not enough, in 2022 Clara Mousseigne caused a sensation by winning 1st Prize and the Nureyev Prize by unanimous vote in the Rudolf Nureyev Competition in Rimini, gaining international recognition of her immense talent and mastery of the art of dance. That year she was also honoured with the Carpeaux Prize and AROP Prize, gaining the respect and admiration of her peers and public.
