Formed for the occasion of Canadian national treasure Oscar Peterson’s 100th birthday, the Oscar Peterson Centennial Trio will take audiences on a musical retrospective of Peterson’s life and career. The music will highlight music from Peterson’s near seven-decade career, beautifully blending the styles and traditions that Peterson is known for with the individual styles of each person on stage. Featuring JUNO Award winners Robi Botos on piano, Mike Downes on bass, and Jim Doxas on drums as well as special guest, Céline Peterson, the group is proud to join forces in 2025 to celebrate this once in a lifetime occasion and important figure in Canadian history.
