Pianist Pascal Amoyel performs on the greatest international stages: Berlin Philharmonic, Paris Philharmonic, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées...
In 2010, he was awarded a Victoire de la Musique Classique in Warsaw by the prestigious Société Chopin for his complete performance of Chopin's Nocturnes alongside Martha Argerich and Nelson Freire. He has made around twenty recordings, alone or as a duo with cellist Emmanuelle Bertrand, which have won him the most prestigious awards: Cannes Classical Award, Gramophone, Diapason d'Or de l'année, Choc du Monde de la Musique... He is committed to the creation of new forms of concert: he is the author of numerous musical shows (around Beethoven, Liszt or Chopin) which he has performed to full houses for several months at the Grand Théâtre Montparnasse in Paris and at the Festival d'Avignon.
As a composer, he is notably the author of the cycle ‘Job, ou Dieu dans la tourmente’, and is a laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire. He is also the author of the book ‘Une petite histoire de la grande musique’, and has produced several broadcasts on France Culture.
A professor of piano and improvisation at Science-Po Paris and the CRR in Rueil-Malmaison, he is regularly invited to give master classes (CNSM in Paris, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Folles Journées in Tokyo, Seoul University, etc.), and directs the musical and literary festival Notes d'automne, which he founded and for which he is commissioner.
