Meet at the airport in the Arrival Hall. Look for PONANT sign. You will be greeted by our local representative off the flight selected by PONANT.

You will be transferred to a local restaurant for lunch.

You will then be transferred to the pier to embark on your ship.

·        The meals mentioned in the programme.

·        Services of a local English-speaking guide.

Your programme does not include:

·        Tips for the driver and local guide.

In the event of schedule changes of PONANT’s selected flight, your programme will be adapted to ensure the most seamless and enriching experience. The content of your revised programme will be updated on the PONANT website, in My Ponant space and on the PONANT app. The final programme will also be sent to you along with your cruise documents.

Kindly note that a minimum number of participants is required for this trip to proceed. As a result, both the price and itinerary may be adjusted based on the final number of participants. Should the minimum number not be met, we will offer you an alternative arrangement.

Day 1 - Lisbon

Meet at Lisbon Airport in the Arrival hall. Look for PONANT sign. You will be greeted by our local representative off the flight selected by PONANT.

You will be transferred to the Hotel (about 15 minutes drive).

Check-in in your room from 3 pm.

The end is the day is at leisure.

Day 2 - Lisbon / Mindelo

After your check out, you will be transferred to Lisbon airport for your flight to Mindelo.

Meet at the airport in the Arrival Hall. Look for PONANT sign. You will be greeted by our local representative off the flight selected by PONANT.

You will be transferred to a local restaurant for lunch.

You will then be transferred to the pier to embark on your ship.

Lisboa Plaza is a charming Boutique hotel in the historic centre of Lisbon. It is located close to Avenida da Liberdade. The atmosphere of informal good taste and the constant updating of services provided make this charming hotel your best friend's home in Lisbon.

Mindelo

After disembarkation procedures are completed, you will be greeted at the pier by our local English-speaking representative.

From the pier, you will board your 4x4 for a panoramic tour of the island of São Vicente, through breathtaking landscapes. In the heart of unspoilt nature, your adventure will take you from the north coast to the south coast to Palha Carga Beach - a one-kilometre-long beach just for you. On the way, you will stop at Assomada to take pictures.

After enjoying a stop at a black sand beach and crossing the agricultural valley of the island, Ribeira de Calhau, you will drive along the coast to the fishing village of Calhau, with its colourful wooden sailboats and its typical Cape Verdean atmosphere.

You will continue driving along the coast until Salamansa bay.

Then you will be transferred to the airport in time for check-in for the PONANT selected flight.

Please note:

·        Depending on weather conditions, the tour can be done the other way around with the same starting (harbour) and ending point (airport).

·        This tour is a panoramic tour (3 hours' drive with photo stops) in an all-terrain vehicle and involves walking on rough roads with some steps. The vehicles used are local and do not have air conditioning or a sound system.

·        We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes and protect yourself from the sun. Each vehicle can accommodate a maximum of 2 passengers.

·        Wildlife viewing is not guaranteed. This tour is not recommended for people with back or neck problems. There are no toilets during the tour.
